Artist: Janus
Title: Opera Carmen
Technique: Mixed technique with ducats double gold 23 carat, glowing in the night
Size: 170 × 200 cm
Date: 2020 - SOLD
“Opera Carmen” is a work vibrating with energy, drama, and sensuality. In natural light, the painting bursts into reds, golds, and whites – like a theatre stage at the climax of an opera, where emotions stand on the edge of eruption. Red symbolizes passion and rebellion, gold reflects the brilliance of life, and white suggests inner purity – consumed by the fire of feelings.
Under UV light, the composition transforms into a mysterious performance – as if revealing a hidden second life of the painting. The fluorescent accents appear like floating musical notes, creating an atmosphere of tension and expectation.
In darkness, the artwork reveals yet another face – glowing lines, like the breath of the soul, floating through the void. Here, art frees itself from form and color, becoming pure energy – a liberation that leaves the viewer with a sense of freedom and mysterious spiritual presence.
